Annual Meeting Saturday, February 16, 2013 The 2013
meeting will be held again at the Texas
Agricultural Education &
Heritage Center, 390 Cordova
Rd, Seguin, TX., www.texagedu.org.
Registration begins at 8:00 am and the program
begins at 8:30 am. Morning munchies will
be coffee, pastries, tea, soda & water.
Lunch will be served at noon at
the Center. The cost is $10 per
person if prepaid by February 11.
Limited plates will be available for $15 when
paid at the door on February 16.
Please send in your reservation as soon as
possible so we will have an accurate count for
all pre-registered members.
We are asking each market to pay the $25 market registration fee for their Farmers Market organization as soon as possible and to use the form provided on the back of your newsletter. All market members are invited to attend the meeting to exchange information and socialize with your fellow producers. We look forward to seeing many of you at our Annual Meeting.
The Agricultural Education & Heritage Center is a 5th generation working farm 2 miles north of Seguin. The center and museum educates the public, especially young people, about the importance of agriculture and promotes the heritage of farming & ranching in Texas. The open barn displays antique and vintage equipment. Directions: IH 35 to San Marcos, turn south on Hwy 123 through farming town of Geronimo to Sequin city limits (less than 20 miles), turn west (right) on Cordova Rd (County 108a). The Center can be seen from Hwy 123. Those coming to Seguin via IH 10, take exit 610, Hwy 123 bypass north, 2.5 miles to Cordova Rd (County 108a). Turn west (left). The Center is just off the highway with plenty of parking. |

Texas Certified Farmers Markets, Inc. is
an association
of farmers markets across the great state of Texas. Each
member market
association may have conventional or Organic fruits and
vegetables
available and must have a majority (51%) of their
members be growers or
producers. Many markets will also include bakeries,
processed foods,
flowers, and crafts at their markets. This web site has
the locations
and times for all of our member markets and
participation in WIC
program if applicable to the best of our knowledge.
